Affiliate Program that works and actually pays. Only in check though bummer.

I thought they were a hoax because they take forever to answer submitted issue form but they work. I was goofing around (research hahah) and ran across their site and signed up. I bought a domain name http://getafreewebsite.info for a buck and now have made money.

They also seem to have a better converting design with the simplicity of it. I copied it and made a bunch of deep pages on my other sites. I am sticking with these guys because i made $100 the first 36 hours. I just never thought i would see it. Well it came. Its pretty decent.

This is what the referral page says about them

Top ten free and useful traffic generating methods.

No matter what i write under a title like the one i used on this post, i will get those that disagree more than usual. Some say there are no useful traffic other than search engine and link traffic. There is a set way to start and run a website beyond throw money at it and have a great, well formulated and trust plan. Well all those things may be fine and true if you have money to do such things in a such a fashion, but if you are a "broke bloke trying to make something out of nothing online", like me and about 94% of the other webmasters and affiliate marketers out here trying to scratch and claw our way out of the bottom end masses, frankly, your advice would be useless to but %6 of internet marketers.

Now me, i have learned over time and finally, some repeatable success, that the advice wealthy internet marketing gurus give out is great advice if you have a little capital to invest in a website with the express plan to corner the market in your planed niche. The problem is most of us are just, "trying to make something out of nothing online". No more. No less. And to do that you need a more underground, desperation discovered, nothing to lose, try anything once, trial and effort , absolute best way to advertise, market and make some money free type of experience.

...Cocky and ready to take over his or her niche after years or scratching and clawing...

...Advice. Thats what this Blog is all about. I am still out on the battle-fronts trying out different things. The whole "broke bloke trying to make something out of nothing online" mentality has finally worked out for me, i want to share a bit of it with you now and always on this blog. If you have taken my advice in the past, you know that i can take you from no money or sales to at least some money and sales. And i don't want to charge you for it but will when it comes to something that really works that they sell i will use my link. I have to, thats the whole "broke bloke trying to make something out of nothing online" mentality, i couldn't stop if i tried and i haven't tried. You need that also. I do agree however that when it costs you nothing you should sign up under the person who worked hard to convince you and help you. If its cheaper than by all means chop off that affiliate link. But give credit where credit is due if it costs you nothing. Anyway heres the list, not really in order.

And remember, if you don't have at least an idea of what you are going to sell and who you are going to sell it to, you have a long, long, disappointing next few years ahead of you.

1. Stumbleupon
STumbleupon is the absolute best way to get traffic to your website. It costs nothing and really works. You content could be crap and you website new as this morning and see hundreds, maybe even thousands of visitors that day. Yea stumbleupon is that powerful. If you haven't got a stumbleupon account, you better click the link and get one right now. And stumble stuff. When you are not doing anything and are just sitting in front of a computer thinking, hit the stumble button, that simple. The payback traffic is more than worth and you are filling dead time with automatic actions, that pay off.

2. Article Marketing
Article Marketing is free, it's also hard and time consuming but it also pays off. Now i wouldn't article market hard unless i had something to sell. If you want to use article marketing and get the traffic boost (more over time) then just article market good articles (original) and submit them with a link to your site in the text. It gets traffic directly and indirectly using the search engines and the actual links in the text. But if you are reading this blog you know what article marketing is.

3. craigslist
Craigslist is also a mad boost to traffic. A small ad put on there for free is virtually unlimited if it peaks the interest. When i first started at craigslist.com i read through the ads first and tried to figure out a pattern, there is none. It is just a great big bulletin board. The more interesting the title the better. There are a few tricks like images as pages and stuff but the best tip is good ads and Great titles.

4. digg.com
Digg.com is a social bookmarking website. Millions of people look through the user submitted content everyday, you story gets hit. If it goes viral, you site will see traffic for months or even years if you make the front page. Hardly anyone does but i have a few times over the years and it is worth it. The front page of digg.com can take you from 10 visitors a day to 100+ for months. Definately worth the free admission. Definately sign up for that and use it. Don't only promote your site, promote other good stories also and sneak your page in occasionally. Works. And it's Free!

5. content
Thats the best tip. Right about stuff you know and understand. Write to the human nature in people and keep whatever you write consistent. Keywords 5, phrases two, every single article. Use the 5 keywords throughout the article or content and the phrase in the title and 1 or 2 times in the actual article. oh ye and all the links. That will work if you get a key phrase in the first paragraph. After awhile it becomes second nature.

7. Trafficswarm (gotta get some "instant traffic generators in or no one will read or stumble this.")
So many people call trafficswarm useless traffic but if you use it right your free account can make some sales. Some sales ain't allot but if you add them up... A sale is a sale. I have a few products that only sell on trafficswarm. The secret to trafficswarm is to market to new webmasters and affiliate marketers. Everyone finds out about trafficswarm early on. It is different from most other exchanges and a new webmaster will not know the traffic exchange traffic is craptraffic,. Traffic exchange sounds perfect when you first start out. Remember?

When i first started out trafficswarm helped me in two ways..

8. Forum Posting
Find a forum about something you love or know about. Sign up and get in the conversation.

9. Comments on blogs.
Obvious

10. Reddit, technorati and the others.
Submit, submit, submit. Not your own stuff constantly. That is the quickest way to get banned. My ratio is 5:1 (5 for others, 1 for me.)
